Paynes Farm Booking Procedure:

Booking Procedure

  • Please telephone or email your booking and we will reserve it for 3 days whilst you send a 20% deposit.
  • The deposit can be made by cheque made payable to Hue's Piece.
  • The balance of the full payment should normally arrive 6 weeks before your arrival but of course in the case of late bookings we can agree a different arrangement.
  • If you cancel we do not refund your deposit unless we can re-let the cottage. We assume that your holiday / travel insurance will refund you if we can't.
  • Similarly, if after sending us the final payment you are unable to come, we will try to re-let the cottage and will give you a refund if we are successful, but otherwise we assume that you will be able to claim the full amount from your travel insurance.
  • We will confirm receipt of both the deposit and the final payments in writing.

General Information

  • Weeks run from Saturday 3.00 pm to Saturday 10.00 am but we can be flexible about arrival/departure if there are no bookings immediately before or after yours
  • Rates include bed linen, towels and electricity. We ask you to bring your own beach towels though!
  • We ask for £20 extra per week if you want to bring a dog, just in case of accidents!
  • We do ask guests not to smoke in the barn
  • On arrival for your week's holiday, the kitchen will be stocked with some essentials to start you off. There will be milk, tea, coffee, sugar, bread, cereals, butter, our own eggs, some local cheese and a bottle of wine - all this is all 'on the house'. Do let me know if you have any special dietary needs.
